Husband of Hazel Ann FRANKLIN nee CLEMENTS

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 3rd January 2024. Aged 85 Years.
Loved and Loving Husband to Hazel (Dec'd). Much loved Father to Brett,
Tricia and Cheryl and Father-in-law to their partners. Adored Grandfather,
Great-Grandfather, Great-Great-Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend.
Dad's passing leaves a void in all our lives and he will be sadly missed.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, his unwavering love for his family,
his loyalty and cheekiness to all who knew him. Dad is with Mum again and at peace. 

Trevor joined the Australian Army in 1956 and after initial training was posted to the Associated Signals Corps in Melbourne. It was whilst in training in Melbourne that he met and married Hazel in 1959.  In 1962 the family moved to Rockbank .  In 1965 he was 1 of only 2 Australians selected for a training course in England and spent 2 years there.  In 1967 he returned to Mornington.  

In 1969 Trevor spent a 12 month tour in Vietnam and in 1970 was posted to Canberra.

Interested in sport, he was a founding member of the West Canberra Football Club and was President of the Junior Club and Secretary of the Senior Club.  He held the Membership Badge No. 2 until the time of his death.

Trevor was discharged from the Army in 1977 and went into private business with his wife until 1986 when they moved to Redcliffe.

He was a member of the Redcliffe RSL and was heavily involved.  He had dutifully recorded the location of servicemen's graves in the local cemeteries.

He was a much loved, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather.
