Peter joined the RSL on 30/5/70 at Wanilla Sub Branch. He had served in Unit 86 Transport - Vietman. He served as Vice president 1974; President 1980,81,82; Secretary 1975,76,77; committee 1974,78,79,83,84,85;pensions officer 1978; sport officer 1879. he also served as catering officer 1984-85. Attended many of the Eyer Peninsular sub branch dinners in support of the RSL. Peter served as Captian of the Country Fire Service Unit. He was a member of the School council, becoming President in 1984. He enjoyed playing tennis and became a member and player for the Wanilla Tennis Club. For 25 years he was an active member of Rural Youth. Office holder of the Wanilla Progress Association. Organised School Sports. President of the RSL social Club for 2 years. He initiatedthe Wanilla sub Branch being a Legatee in 1984-85. Peter was awarded a Life membership of the RSL for his service in 1985
