Sergeant Donald Breynard Davie, son of Reverend L. S. and Mrs. Davie, of Port Pirie Missions to Seamen, is at home enjoying a month's leave prior to his departure in April, for Malaya as a member of an Australian Observer Section, which will be attached to the British Army. He expects to serve in Malaya for about two years, partly on forward operations and partly in giving instruction courses. Sergeant Davie, who has been with the 4th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment will shortly complete 10 years' service with the army, having fought with the 2nd A.I.F. in Borneo, and served in Korea, where he was decorated with the Military Medal.
