Prominent ex-serviceman dies
A prominent SA CX- serviceman and holder of the Australian Medal (AM) has died.
Mr Clement Stuart ("Tim") Spencer died at
Parkwyn Private Hospital
after a long illness. He was 63.
Mr Spencer was secretary and a life member of the Royal Australian Navy Corvette Associate since its formation
in 1980.
Mr Spencer also was secretary of the N-Class Destroyer Association of
SA
He was awarded the AM last
year in recognition of his tireless work for ex-servicemen vicemen and his contribution to the linen and laundry industry, which he was involved in since
the war.
He is survived by his wife, Marj. and two
children.
