Beloved eldest son of Lily and the late Michael Skully
Commemorated Cheltenham Cemetery, Adelaide
Advice has been received by Mrs. J. G. Skully. of Carp lane, Woodville West, that her husband Seaman-Gnr. John George Skully has been reported missing, believed killed, in the South-western Pacific area. He was the eldest son of Mrs. and the late Mr. M. J Skully, of William street, Rosewater. He had seen three and a half years of service. Before enlistment he was employed by General Motors-Holdens. He has a younger brother serving in the Royal Australian Navy.
