Mrs. T. A. Sheridan, of O'Connell street, North Adelaide, has been informed that her second son, Ordinary Seaman John M. Sheridan, formerly of Clifford street, Torrensville, is a prisoner of war in Malaya. He was previously reported missing, believed a prisoner of war.
Seaman Sheridan enlisted in the Royal Australian Navy in May, 1941, and was drafted in January, 1942 for service in the Dutch East Indies. He reached Singapore on January 21. Before enlisting he was employed by Clarkson Ltd.
