Able-Seaman Gordon Maxwell Reid is 21 and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Reid of Hawker's road. Medindie. He was educated at St. Peter's College, where he was an enthusiastlic footballer and cricketer. He joined the Navy about 18 months ago and served in an armed merchant cruiser before Roing to the Perth.
