Merton Stanley LOUD was born in Curramulka, South Australia on 30th April, 1923

His parents were Arthur LOUD & Andrena Ellie WAY

He died on 5th January 1945 during the battle of Luzon Island off the Phillipines (HMAS Australia)

His name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial & the Plymount Naval Memorial
