Albe-Seaman Gordon Roy Fulston (23), is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Fulston of Taylor's road, Mile-End. He enlisted in the Navy about 18 months ago, and, after  training at Flinders Naval Depot went to India and joined a warship of the Royal Navy.
He transferred to the Yarra 12 months ago, and had served aboard her continuously since.
Educated at the Payneham Public School and the Norwood and Adelaide High Schools, he later worked at the Waymouth Sercise Co. A.B. Fulston was a keen worker for the  Holder Memorial Church Mile-End, and was a member of the church cricket, football and tennis teams.
