Stoker Colin Footner, 19, of Kent Town, who had been in the Perth since she arrived in Australia in 1940, left her about a month ago, and is now  stationed at Flinders Naval Depot. He joined the Perth on her arrival from England in 1940, and was on board her during the evacuations from  Greece and Crete, the Battle of Matapan, and the Syrian campaign, in which she took part.
