"Soldier Settler Killed On Farm
KINGSCOTE.— Colin Elliott, 29, a soldier settler, of American River, was fatally injured while he was changing the wheels of a tractor on his farm. The chocks slipped and he sustained severe head injuries. He leaves a wife and four children." - from the Adelaide Chronicle 11 Mar 1954 (nla.gov.au)
