Son of Albert Arthur and Mary Jane Corby, of Semaphore Park, South Australia.
NAVAL GUNNER FROM SEMAPHORE MISSING
Advice has been received by Mr. and Mrs. M.J. Corby of Bray Avenue, Semaphore Park, that their son Leading Gunner Robert Arthur Corby, 27 has been reported missing. Gunner Corby was born at Exeter and educated at Lefevre Peninsula School He has served nine years in the navy and was on the Naval Reserve while employed at G.J. Coles & Co. Ltd. He was on a merchant ship lost through enemy action last March but was rescued. His brother Gordon is with the A.I.F. and was at Tobruk.
