Kenneth was educated at the Gulnare Primary School, where he gained his QC. He was fond of swimming, football and music and played the mouth organ. In Civil life he was a baker's apprentice, with RL Jones of Gulnare and also F Holst of Victor Harbour
Story from the Gulnare Primary School Centenary Book " Slates to Computers"
Just my thoughts;- The family moved from Echunga in the Adelaide Hills to Gulnare, in search of work, as most of the boys, following basic schooling (as did my father) worked on surrounding farms, (probably after the 'Depression') Then joined the Armed Forces with the outbreak of WW2.
