His parents were Hurtle Wilfred WILLIAMS & Alicia Susan Lilian Godfrey CARPENTER who married in the Wesleyan Church in Norwood, SA on 7th December, 1916
He married Ruth Ruby QUARTLY in SA in 1938

He also joined the RAAF (SN 437186) discharged 18th December, 1945 - Warrant Officer with 212 Squadron
