Flying Officer Albert Henry Salt 419222 RAAF and Flying Officer John Burnett Selth 416795 RAAF of 299 Squadron RAF were killed when Ventura AE733 crashed near Kingston Warren, Wiltshire, England

Also killed were Flight Sergeant William Roy Chester R/122563 RCAF and Sergeant Raymond Louis Sanders 1576004 RAF
