EVER REMEMBERED
Mr J. B. Roderick has been officially informed that his son, Pilot Officer Beresford C. Roderick, was killed when a Stirling bomber, of which he was navigator, crashed at Warwick, England, on July 25. After studying industrial chemistry at Melbourne High School and Melbourne Technical College, Pilot Officer Roderick was employed at Salisbury munitions laboratory from where he enlisted. He trained in Australia and Canada, where he gained his commission. He arrived in England to take up operational duties this year just before his 20th birthday.
