Son of John Edward Alexander and Ethel Rankin; husband of Annie Elizabeth Rankin, of South Brighton, South Australia.

RESTING WHERE NO SHADOWS FALL

It was found by the Court of Enquiry that the death of the abovednamed officer occurred on 20th December, 1943, at the camp site of No. 7 T & MO Detachment, Goodenough, and that the aboved named officer committed suicide by shooting himself through the forehead with his Service revolver whilst of unsound mind.
