Adelaide Flier Missing
Pilot-Officer Allan Harry Pearce, 23, of Lowe street, City, has been reported missing from operations over Europe. His wife, Mrs. Thelma Pearce, of Lowe street, has been advised of this. Pilot - Officer Pearce was observer in a Lancaster bomber. He was in the A.I.F. for 12 months, and transferred to the Royal Australian Air Force late in 1942. He left Australia for England in November, 1943. Before enlisting, Pilot-Officer Pearce was employed by Mr. K. T. Stewart, leathergoods manufacturer, of Grote street. City. He was educated at Norwood Public School.
