Kittyhawk aircraft A29-26 and A29-86 from 82SQN collided in mid-air approximately 3 miles SW of Bankstown aerodrome with the pilots both killed: Flying Officer Kenneth William Baxter 408687 (A29-26) and Flight Lieutenant Clyde Douglas Hill 280804 (A29-86)
