Happy Doug

I was in the same cohort as Doug in the Adelaide Medical School in the 50s. Never there was a dull moment with him, always a smiling laughing presence with an abundance of stories, although he did not dwell on his wartime experiences. We attended the Anglican Church of St David, Burnside South Australia. We had met his wife Margaret before graduation and became firm friends. Always impeccably dressed often with waistcoat and dapper hat he was an impressive sight each Sunday.
