Flight Sergeant Kevin James Brady (Service No:442328) enlisted in the RAAF at No 5 Recruiting Centre Adelaide on 19 June 1943 as a Aircraftman II - mustered as Air Crew, re mustered as Air Gunner. Flight Sergeant Brady was attached to 21 Squadron at Discharge on 13 March 1947.

Kevin was born at Henley Beach, Adelaide, South Australia in 1922, sixth of eight children of Michael Ignatius Brady (b1887 in Virginia, Adelaide, South Australia) and Ruby Catherine Hogg (b1886 in Burnside, Adelaide, South Australia). Michael and Ruby married in 1910 in Adleaide, where they settled and raised their family and Michael was a Chemist.

On completing school (Christian Brothers' College in Adelaide), Kevin worked as a Machinist (Precision Grinding) before enlisting in the RAAF. In 1944 in Hindmarsh, South Australia he married Pauline McMahon (b1927 in Adelaide, South Australia) - Pauline was a Shop Assistant in Adelaide. Following his Discharge from the RAAF, Kevin settled in Adelaide, where he completed qualifications as a Physiotherapist and worked for the Department of Social Services. Kevin and Pauline were Divorced in 1953 - Kevin's later marriage was annulled. In the 1960s, Kevin moved to Port Moresby, Papua New Guiea where he was an English Teacher. Kevin died in 1970.
