Frederick Colin PROUD

Fred enlisted 8th November 1941 and after initial training and training as a wireless airgunner, he saw active service with 454 Squadron in the Mediterranean and Middle East theatre. The squadron flew Blenheim Bombers and subsequently the Martin Baltimore. Fred participated in raids over Italy, and was discharged on 19th September 1945.
