Son of Charles William Albert and Elsie Scholz, of Nuriootpa.

Two air-men were killed when an aircraft from a RAAP station in South Australia crashed this week while on a training flight. They were: — Sgt. Stanley Rechner Scholz. 25, single, of Nuriootpa,
SA, and ACl Douglas Thompson. 23, single, of Kalgoorlie, WA. At the time of the crash the aircraft was towing a target.

Sgt. Plt. Stanley Rechner Scholz, RAAF, who was killed in an air crash recently, was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Scholz, of Light Pass. Before enlistment he had been studying chemistry.
