Son of Thorold Roy and Doris Phoebe Letcher, of Adelaide, South Australia

Mr. and Mrs. T.R. Letcher, of Irwin avenue, Millswood Estate, have been notified that their eldest son. F/Sgt. Robert Jonn Letcher, 25, lost his life on January 22 as the result of an aircraft accident. F/Sgt. Letcher was navigator of a Wellington which crashed
Over Somerset, England, while on a non-operational flight. He served eight months in England. Before enlistment he was employed in the Adelaide office of the Vacuum Oil Company. His youngest brother. Sgt. L. E. Letcher is also attached to the RAAF in England as a wireless-air gunner and his other brother, Gnr. D. R. Letcher, is serving with the AIF in New Guinea.
