Son of Stanley Horseman and Muriel Mildred (nee Whaite) Horseman; brother of Mavis Milread Horseman, Joyce Dora Horseman,Lorna Miriam Horseman and Joan Mildred Horseman
Plane was Hudson A16-210 of 2 Squadron which was lost off the south coast of Timor. It had taken off from Bachelor or a bomibing operation to Lavia (Portuguese Timor) but was attacked by enemy fighters about 15 miles from the south coast of Timor and ultimatley shot down in flames 5 miles from the coast

RAAF Lockheed Hudson aircraft A16-210 of Number 2 Squadron was shot down off the south coast of Timor and all of the crew were killed. They are commemorated on the Northern Territory Memorial to the Missing located at Adelaide River War Cemetery, NT -
