Noel Hampton family history

Noel was born 3 January 1926 at Roper River in the NT to parents Tim and Sarah Hampton. Noel was the second oldest son of 12 children.

Noel's brothers Reginald and Walter also served the Army/Airforce during World War 2 and brothers Eric and Roy served peace time service in the Army in the 1960's.

Noel enlisted in the Airforce on 15 February 1945 in Adelaide.
His service number 154552 and his rank was LAC.

Noel was dishcharged from the Airforce on 25 October 1946.

Noel was also a stockman and a talented artist particuarly with
his work in making decorated plates.

Noel is survived by his two son's who live in Central Australia Walter and Graham. Graham aka Chisel was a gifted boxer and an All Australian U18 AFL footballer in 1987.

Noel has 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
