Donald Clifford Anderson
Donald Clifford Anderson, born at Durham, England, came to New Zealand 1905, and went to study medicine at Melbourne University. He there enlisted with the Australian Medical Corps and served for some months at Gallipoli till disabled by dysentery. Received his discharge in September, 1916, and returning to New Zealand joined the staff of this School in February, 1917. He died in Dunedin on December 2nd, 1918 (aged 29 years), the cause of death being pneumonia following upon influenza, which he contracted while assisting to fight the epidemic.
