Aircraftman Howard Herbert Delaine Mills 153740 & Sergeant Vincent Joseph Davoren 12405 were killed when the mobile crane they were operating touched high-power electrical lines at Number 1 Stores Depot in Sandridge, Victoria

Two airmen were injured: Leading Aircraftman Harold James Colley-Allerton 126075 - discharged in December 1944 & Aircraftman Theodorus Heywood Van Alkemade 157261 was discharged in January 1946
