Mr. Heaver is still in England with the RAAF, and had the very distinct honour of being in London to see the Victory March last Saturday. He enlisted with the Air Force in February 1944, and shortly after went to England. He has been there over 15 months, and expects to return to Australia in a month or two. He was the only member of the staff to see the home country during the recent war, and to inspect the damage caused by the German blitz. Before enlistment Mr. Heaver was a cadet journalist, employed on the literary staff of the "Border Watch".
