LAC Douglas Clayton Boomer 141024 RAAF was injured in a military truck accident at Alexishafen in New Guinea while on duty in February 1945 - he was discharged from the RAAF in 1947

Leading Aircraftman Ernest Ward 146299 RAAF of Number 4 Central Reserve Depot was killed in the incident
