Keith , Leading Aircraftman RAAF (78 Squadron, New Guinea, Borneo) was son of Alf and Edna. The family was for some years resident in Cowell, proprietors of the Franklin Harbour Hotel.
Keith's brother Allen was Killed In Action. He was a Flight Sergeant/Observer killed on a bombing raid to Germany near Malta April 1942.
They had a sister Jean. Keith was a popular young man in the district, much in demand as an MC at the many fundraising events as dances, balls, regattas held in those days
