"THE LATE PRIVATE R. VERRALL.

Mr. and Mrs. H. Verrall, of Hermitage, have been notified that their second son, Private Robert Verrall, was killed in action in France on October 1. He left for the front on January 11. Private Verrall was the first young man to enlist from Hermitage. He passed his 36th birthday on September 27, four days before he was killed.
