Douglas Garnet OATS was born in Murray Town, South Australia on 20th March, 1913

His parents were William Garnet OATS & Nina Lucretia HOCKING

He married Gwendolyn Eileen FLEHR in South Australia on 11th March, 1939 at the All Saints Church in Colonel Light Gardens

He enlisted in the RAAF in Adelaide on 17th November, 1942 - last rank was Leading Aircraftman with 61 ACW Headquarters (Airfield Construction Wing)

Douglas died in Adelaide on 29th June 1981
