robert john copley never went to high school. he never spoke about his child hood except to tell of constantly moving houses. the family would move when the rent was due. when he returned from new guinea he started a business making children toys then moved on to making washing machines and finally fluroescent light fittings.
a vast majority of people employed in the first business stayed till the last business. a dam good boss was my dad. a true blue ozzie worker. REGINA appliances, south road edwardstown s.a.
dad never went overseas except to go to war.
he worked hard and looked after his wife daphne alice nee leslie and two children janis leslie and cherie leslie.
i am proud to say that his work ethic has given me inspiration to be like him.
