Stanley Haynes was born on the 17th of October 1894 in a small town called Walloway. He was the son of William Haynes and Sarah Knight. He passed away in 1973 at the Queens Elizabeth Hospital in Woodville SA.

Stanley was a shop assistant with his own shop in Orroroo South Austraila, with his wife who was only 3 years younger than him. He and his wife grew up together and they went to school together. His wife died 3 years before he did.
