Walter Murray Wade was born in 1911. He was the son of Walter Dixon Wade and Olive Price (Colbey) Wade and the brother of Audine Olive Wade.
Murray married Edith Olive (Shillingford) Wade on 18 April 1935 in Scots Church, North Terrace, Adelaide, South Australia.
