Biography

Clifford Lawrence ABBOT was born on 12th May, 1909 in Streaky Bay, South Australia

His parents were Richard ABBOT and Mary Eliza JOHNSON

He joined the RAAF in Kalgoorlie WA on 4th December, 1942 - rank Leading Aircraftman - Posting on Discharge 36 Squadron

He was discharged on 6th March, 1946

On 8th February, 1936 he married Jessie Gladys Annie HENDERSON at St Johns Cathedral, Kalgoorlie, WA

Clifford died on 22nd August, 2000 aged 91 years and is buried in Karrakatta Anglican Cemetery in Western Australia, - Anglican  Lawn 7, section 0120. along with his wife Jessie who died 24th October, 1977  at Applecross aged 63 years
