Life
Kenneth Ernest Roy Work always known as Roy
Spent time as a grocer with udunda farmers in Murray Bridge
prior to opening a plant nursery in Sturt Street .
This expanded to market garden as well growing
gherkins onions tomatoes among other things
Roy was very well known in the district probably due to
his earlier days selling Watkins products from door to door
at which he won several awards from the company
He was killed in a car accident in the mid 50s
