Mr. Parry enlisted for service with the RAAF in June, 1941. After serving at Laverton and Point Cook, Mr. Parry went to Western Australia/ being stationed at Merideon, Geraldton, and Broome (which was raidedftby Japanese planes). He later went to Darwin, being attached to 54th Squadron RAF, and North-Western Headquarters.
Mr. Parry was a, process block maker before enlistment, and since his return in January, 1946, he has been a linotype operator and has also been working to get the block making department at "The Border Watch" operating again.
Married during a leave period in 1943, he is residing at Wallis Street, Mt. Gambler, with his wife.
