Personal Stories
My Grandfather
This was my grandfather. He lived until 1987, when he passed away from cancer. After serving his country he returned to Naracoorte South Australia to work as a shearer, and he and his wife Gertrude Irene were blessed with 7 children. Daughter Elaine - my mother, as well as Gloria, Dianne, Jeffrey, Rita, Tammy, and a little boy Barry. Barry passed away at only a few months of age from Cystic Fibrosis.
