Henry Alick STEER was born in Perth, Western Australia in 1888

His parents were William Henry STEER and Rhoda ROLFE

He had previously served for 3 years in South Australia with the Garrison Artillery before he enlisted in WW1 on 13th June, 1917

Henry married Florence Mabel CRESSWELL in South Australia in 1913
