Son of Robert William and Emily George, of New Mile End South Australia.
Mr. and Mrs. R. W. George, of Chapman street. New Mile End, have been notified that their son, F/Sgt. W. D. George, is reported missing and believed to have lost his life in an aircraft accident in New South Wales on March 31. F Sgt. George joined the RAAF
in January, 1940, at the age of 18. In March last year he returned suf fering from malaria, and in December was posted to the eastern States. Before enlisting F/Sgt. George was employed by G & R Wills. His elder brother Lloyd is believed to be a prisoner of war in Java.
