William Arthur Stanley WHIPP was born in Bangalore, NSW on 2nd January, 1892

His parents were Samuel WHIPP & Prudence SPEER who married in NSW on 4th March, 1891

He enlisted in Goulburn on 10th September, 1916 and embarked from Sydney with the 55th Infantry Battalion, 8th reinforcements on the HMAT Suevia on 11th November, 1916

William was Killed in Action in Belgium on 26th Sepember, 1917 - no known grave
