Military Medal
'At HOOGE, FRANCE on September 20th, 1917, during the advance of GLENCORSE and POLYGONVELDE WOODS, Private LULHAM showed great devotion to duty and marked courage during the advance. When the final objective was captured he organised his section and worked both day and night in the consolidation and again while in charge of a wiring party remained at his work under heavy artillery and machine gun fire, setting a fine example to the men under him.'
