Royston Randell Barnes ACKLAND was born on 20th Sept. 1883 in Adelaide, SA

His parents were John Barnes ACKLAND and Edith May RANDELL

Royston married Grace Ruby SMITH in 1911 in Northam WA and she died in 1925.  His second marriage was to Vera Eunice Marie HUBERT in 1927 in WA

Grace Ruby died on 4th Nov. 1925 aged 33 years and is buried in Wongan Hills Cemetery.  Vera died on 4.5.1963 in Claremont WA and is buried in Karrakatta Cemetery

Royston enlisted on 16th May 1942 with the 9 Northam Battalion Volunteer Defence Corps. Service No. W82844 -
