Biography contributed by Kim Johnson

Reg Brown was born on 24/10/1924 in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. The son of Albert and Dorothy Brown of Mt Hawthorn.

Keen to enlist he lied about his age (16 years) and stated he was born in South Australia to make checks more difficult. He was only 17 when he was killed in action during the Japanese advance upon Singapore.
