The details provided are taken from the book "1000 Men at War" the history of the 2nd/16th Infantry Battalion, published 1959, refer to page 86. Tycho was born at Ceduna SA 23rd July 1912, and prior to the war he was a bee keeper of Northam WA, and had been a trooper with the 10th Light Horse Militia. He enlisted in the AIF and served with the 2nd/16th Inf Bn, rising to the rank of Corporal. Unfortunately, he was Killed In Action 6th July 1941. Rest In Peace. Lest We Forget.
