My name is David Raymond Whitehead, born on the 22/5/1975 to parents, Raymond William Albert Whitehead & Heather Madeline Whitehead(née Story).
I am the only grandson of the late Lieutenant Gordon Malcolm Story.
My mother is Heather Madeline Whitehead(née Story), the youngest of 2 daughters to the late Gordon & Erica Story, the family including eldest daughter Elizabeth Story, as well as 2 brothers Colin & Dean Story.
My grandfather was married to the late Erica Gwendoline Story(née Francis) who also saw service during WW2 as a nurse based in Adelaide.
In my early 20's I was blessed that my grandparents opened their home to me, and I was grateful to be able to witness an enduring love
