Sapper Alfred Sylvester Buddle completed his army training prior to posting overseas. Sapper Alfred Syvester Buddle was taken sick, operated on in Mount Gambier but was then discharged as medically unfit for army service on the 13th of July 1942.
He attempted to join again four times but was unsuccessful.
All the members of his Regiment that went overseas during the war were killed in action.
Sapper Alfred Sylvester Buddle passed away on the 25th of April 1986. Aged 77 years
