Victor Clement HEWETT was born on 6th November, 1907 in Rosewater, South Australia
His parents were Albert James HEWETT and Emily HURLE
He married Phoebe Ellen May HELPS on 18th June, 1932 at the home of W Broadbent Findon in South Australia and had 3 children, Clem, Allen & Elaine - Photbe died in 1991 in Woodville and is buried in Cheltenham Cemetery, SA
He was living in New Queenstown when he enlisted at Adelaide on 8th April, 1942 with the 1st Battalion of the Volunteer Defence Corps (Private) He was discharged on 12th November, 1945.
Victor died on 4th February, 1971 at Fulham Gardens, Rosewater and is buried in Section C of Cheltenham Cemetery, South Australia
